Jillian Kalosky
Jillian graduated from the University of New Hampshire summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and justice studies in 2006 and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then interned at the New Hampshire Public Defender in Manchester and realized her passion for investigative work. Jillian went on to receive a graduate fellowship to pursue her master’s degree at the University of New Hampshire. She completed her master’s degree in sociology with a focus in criminology in 2008. Upon graduation, Jillian accepted full-time employment at the New Hampshire Public Defender.

During her nearly seven years there, she worked in three offices; managed a serious felony caseload, including sexual assaults, first and second degree assaults, drug offenses, and homicides; interviewed hundreds of witnesses; prepared reports, memoranda, and trial exhibits; regularly trained and mentored interns and newly-hired investigators; subpoenaed witnesses; testified in court; conducted in-depth social history interviews; prepared mitigation reports; presented at statewide investigator trainings; and assisted incarcerated clients with admission into residential substance abuse treatment programs throughout New England.

Jillian brought this wealth of experience and knowledge into private practice when she began Jillian Kalosky Investigations in 2018. Since that time, she has expanded her practice to include federal, capital, post-conviction, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases. Jillian has also investigated cases for both the Innocence Project and the New England Innocence Project. Jillian remains dedicated to indigent defense cases and regularly investigates cases for court-appointed counsel. Jillian is a fierce, compassionate, and loyal advocate for her clients.
